Featuring around 70 different commercial vehicles. Named the Sprat & Winkle Run because the finish is at The Stade, Winkle Island.

The town will be turned into a blazing spectacle with the staging of the annual Guy Fawkes celebrations.
The grand procession will form up and up to 1,000 flaming torches will light the night sky as the massed societies make their way back through the town centre where the bonfire will be lit.

CLASSIC CAR SHOW

NINFIELD BONFIRE NIGHT
12th October from 7.30pm
Procession and firework display will follow the route of Church Lane onto the Green into Manchester Road, Coombe Lane and Standard Hill, onto the High Street, The Green and back into Church Lane leading onto the Recreation Ground.
A week long celebration to commemorate the anniversary of the Battle of Hastings on 14th October 1066. The Classic Car Show, National Town Criers Championship, Battle of Hastings re-enactment and the grand finale of the Hastings Bonfire Torchlight Procession are just some of the exciting events on offer and are sure to keep everyone interested.

NORTHIAM BONFIRE PROCESSION
Traditional Sussex Bonfire Procession & Fireworks leaving the Bonfire Field (on the A28 south of the village) at 7.30pm, heading into the village, and returning for the lighting of the Bonfire at about 8.30pm followed by fireworks. Entry £1. Street collection for local good causes.

Eastbourne Bonfire Society stages a colourful procession along the seafront with a giant bonfire and firework display as the finale. Part of the local “bonfire” tradition it attracts other regional societies to the procession. Everyone welcome!

DRAGON BOAT RACE

Since the event began in 1998, over £2.7 Million has been raised for more than 400 local, national and international charities. Up to 60 dragon boat teams with crews of 16 paddlers in fancy dress (plus a drummer) race in chinese-style dragon boats over a 250-metre course.
